Qigong

Awareness.  Connection.  Harmonising.

Qigong can be thought of as a moving meditation. Slow, deep breaths are coordinated with profound yet simple movements, intention, and creative visualisation.

Qigong is a self-empowering practice that encourages health & longevity, reduces stress and anxiety, develops strength, coordination and flexibility, and promotes energy & well-being.

Some more benefits of Qigong

04

Increased energy, including sexual vitality.

05

Comfortable warmth. Circulation improves.

06

Clear skin.

The skin, like the intestines, is an organ of elimination. According to Chinese medicine, as your qigong improves, your body eliminates toxins, and the skin becomes clear.

01

Well-being and improved health.

02

Clear and tranquil mind.

If you have a tranquil mind, you will make better decisions and have the skill to know when act and when to be still.

03

Deeper, more restorative sleep.

07

Happy attitude.

08

More efficient metabolism. Digestion improves, and hair and nails grow more quickly.

09

Bright eyes.

10

Greater physiological control.

This means that aspects of the body that were imbalanced or out of control begin to normalize, for example, breathing rate, heart rate, blood pressure, hormone levels, and states of chronic inflammation or depletion.

11

Intuition and creativity.

Intuition and creativity generate each other and come from the same source, an awakened brain and being, an ability to think with the gut, to feel with the mind.

12

Spiritual effects.

Advancement in qigong is often accompanied by a variety of spiritual experiences

Radiant Lotus Women's Qigong

Founded by Daisy Lee

Throughout history, women have been natural healers, tending to the family and community with practical, grassroots knowledge. The remedies they knew were shared and passed on, and yet, certain knowledge was hidden from the majority as Qigong was once only taught by lineage holders and passed down to dedicated male practitioners. Little was known about Qigong for women’s health and healing, and what did exist early on was focused on sexual practices - ostensibly for the pleasure of men.

We can use RLWQ to not only prevent what was once considered inevitable female health projects but to transform suffering and support the body, mind, and spirit to regain health, vitality, and radiance. Along with the graceful, calming Qigong movements, there are techniques that support mental and emotional health which can shift the immune system towards balance and greater harmony. When this happens, there is less dependence on pain medications and pharmaceutical drugs that hide the symptoms but fail to get to the root cause of dis-ease.

Michelle will be sharing RLWQ from May 2024 at Retreats and on the Radiant Woman Tour
